Littlest Angels Shine Brightly

Our littlest angels, preschool and kindergarten, shone brightly on the stage in our Early Childhood Center Monday, November 24.  Our little ones shared the songs and signs (language of the deaf) that they learned while working with Ohio Arts Council artists-in-residence Ms. Vicki McCrone and Mr. William Morgan. 

Ms. McCrone, a Cleveland musician and composer, shared her original compositions Little Songs: Colors.  Mr. Bill Morgan of SignStage from the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center taught the children signing, movement and dramatizations.   What a pleasure it has been to have these two amazing artists working in our Early Childhood Center during November, and to see the smiles on the faces of our littlest angels as they sang, signed and dramatized creative ideas about colors, friendship and caring.The Ohio Arts Council and a generous donor funded this two-week artist-in-residence experience.  Special thanks to our sponsors, our teachers, and all who made this wonderful experience possible!
