Miracle on 54th Street

A National
Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Metro Catholic School
opened its doors in 1988 to welcome children from nine near
west side parishes. The parish schools of St. Michael, St.
Stephen and St. Boniface merged to form Metro Catholic to insure
in these financially unstable times, the continuing presence
of quality Catholic education.
The school is committed to each child's total education: in spirit, in body,
in mind, in morals and values, in emotions and in social interactions.
The Sisters of Notre Dame, teachers, staff and parents strive to give the children
a quality education in a challenging urban area. They see Metro Catholic as
a stabilizing force amid the uncertainty and transiency on the near west side
of Cleveland.
Located on two campuses, Metro Catholic doubles its presence and multiplies
the potential of its contribution toward an improved neighborhood, a stronger
Cleveland, a better society.
